Steph joins us after many years working in various Government roles, and Tim brings extensive experience at Xero after growing up in Singapore.
To get to know them better, check out their bios below.
My name is Stephanie and I joined Distillery Software in November 2024.
I enjoy my job because it presents ongoing challenges that allow me to grow and develop new skills, including in technical areas where I haven’t previously had experience. It provides me with the balance of being able to apply my existing capabilities and acquiring new ones through hands-on opportunities.
Working in a small team/small business means I am not confined to a single role type, instead I contribute across different tasks and get to change up the hat amongst a supportive and driven collective of Distillery individuals!
Outside of work, I am drawn to anything that sparks my creativity, I find inspiration in nature, often exploring it with a camera in hand or simply practicing the art of noticing. Music, film and books have always been a great source of joy for me, offering endless ways to experience new perspectives and fuelling my imagination.
Hi, I’m Tim.
I’m a software developer who recently started working here at Distillery Software.
I moved to Melbourne with my family after growing up in Singapore.
Before joining the team here, I spent four years working at Xero. After being fully remote after covid, I was especially keen to come work in a highly collaborative team.
So far, I’ve really enjoyed working with the people here. The work has been interesting, but also pretty different to what I’ve done previously so having a great team to help navigate my way through it has been great.
Outside of work I enjoy playing video games and going climbing with my friends.
