Ian joined Distillery in 2006 and has led the team as CEO since 2016. Often the first point of contact for new clients, Ian has over 15 years’ experience managing and leading multi-skilled development teams in implementing investigative case management projects, Ian’s breadth of knowledge and experience ensures each client project is delivered to the highest level of quality.
During his time with Distillery, Ian has been responsible for multiple clients including Victoria Police, Queensland Police, Queensland Crime & Corruption Commission, Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission, Department of Home Affairs, Law Enforcement Conduct Commission and the Australian Border Force.
Prior to 2006, Ian’s career included roles with NSW Department of Industry, Sutherland Housing Association (UK), Newham Early Years and Childhood Service (UK) and the Australian Taxation Office.

Mark brings decades of experience with Defence, Victoria Police, Australian Border Force and the Department of Immigration and Border Protection to lead the technology team as Product Manager for Condor Investigate.
Since 2006, Mark’s strong analytical background and sophisticated problem-solving capability, have helped Distillery bridge the gap between technology and business. Focusing on product management, project implementation and security, Mark is often found leading client workshops to gather requirements and produce accurate and insightful scoping documentation.
Mark has been instrumental in the development of the Condor Investigation suite from its inception, using his knowledge and skills to create a user-friendly, flexible and ground-breaking suite of tools for investigators and investigations.
Mark enjoys the combination of creative problem solving and technical discipline at Condor – specifically when he can see the impact on meaningful and important organisations.
Steven began his career with Distillery in 2003 after completing his Computer Science Degree at the University of Newcastle. As an integral part of the Condor development team, Steven provides implementation support for new and existing clients.
With over 15 years of experience in the domain, Steven has deep subject matter expertise and understanding of the needs, environments, and challenges of investigations, and consistently looks for opportunities to improve processes and functionality to better meet and exceed client expectations.
Steven is proud of his role in taking a set of ideas about how to build a modern investigation/case management system through a research and development process and into production with multiple clients.
After working in the public service for over 10 years, April enjoys working on Condor projects with multiple clients across jurisdictions to help them to achieve their goals.
Joining Distillery in 2018, April is heavily involved with each client – responsible for ensuring the ongoing success of client engagements. She ensures projects run smoothly, designs and provides user training, ensures all issues are resolved effectively and – most importantly – consistently works with clients over time to understand their evolving needs, and how Condor can provide optimal support.
